UnionPay International wins “Asia-Pacific Retail Leadership” Award
On June 15, UnionPay International won the "Asia Pacific Retail Leadership Award" issued by China Daily Asia Leadership Roundtable for its achievements in retail in Asia. This year, the Award was given to four enterprises in Asia in the fields of retail and finance.
Li Penglin, General Manager of UnionPay International Hong Kong Branch, attended the Roundtable. “In addition to providing retailers with payment services, UnionPay International will also launch a cross-border marketing platform to help merchants precisely locate customer groups and reduce marketing costs via big data analysis,” said he.
“UnionPay is one of the world’s largest and most popular bankcard networks, providing a wide range of innovative, efficient, safe and convenient payment means to the retail industry,” stated China Daily in its publication.
