Promotion Details:

During the promotion period, users who add a physical UnionPay card issued in Mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macao to their iPhone Wallet App and set it as the default payment method (placed at the top of all payment methods) will receive a random instant discount of up to 1,000 JPY when using the selected UnionPay card through the UnionPay clearing network for a top-up of 7,000 JPY or more. The exact deduction time is determined by the merchant. Each UnionPay card can enjoy this offer once separately for Suica, PASMO, and ICOCA during the promotion period. Offers are limited, available on a first-come, first-served basis, and subject to availability.

Participation Method:

Users must link a real-name authenticated physical UnionPay card issued in Mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macao to their iPhone Wallet App and select this card for payment when topping up the transit card.

Promotion Terms:

(1) 100% chance of enjoying a random instant discount with UnionPay.

(2) The maximum instant discount per transaction is 1,000 JPY.

(3) Each UnionPay card is eligible for the offer once for each of the three transit cards: Suica, PASMO, and ICOCA during the promotion period.

(4) If a dual-brand card is used, the discount only applies when payments are processed through the UnionPay channel.

(7) Regardless of the reason, if a refund occurs after a top-up, subsequent top-ups will no longer be eligible for the discount.

(8) All times stated are Beijing Time, and transaction time is determined by when the transaction enters the UnionPay backend system. For pre-authorization transactions, both the pre-authorization and its completion must occur within the promotion period.
