During the activity period, users making payments with UnionPay Mobile Pay at all Food and Beverage (F&B) merchants across the UAE can enjoy a 20% instant discount with no minimum spending requirement. The maximum single discount is capped at 60 AED.

Activity Rules：

1.Activity Period

April 4, 2026, to December 31, 2026 (inclusive of both dates). The time is subject to the UnionPay backend system time.

2.Participation Method

Users must successfully register (U Plan registration) via the activity QR code or a designated link to participate.

3.Scope of Application

Consumption at all merchants categorized as Food and Beverage (F&B) across the UAE, using the UnionPay Mobile Pay method (excluding physical cards).

4.Mobile Pay Definition

Use the NFC wallet function of the mobile phone itself to bind a UnionPay card starting with 62 for payment, such as Apple Pay, Huawei Pay, Mi Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, etc. Payments made through third-party wallet apps binding UnionPay cards do not meet this definition and cannot enjoy the discount.

5.Merchant Category Code (MCC) Special Note

The activity discount is based on the Merchant Category Code (MCC) registered by the merchant with the local acquiring institution. This activity only applies to merchants marked with an F&B MCC. If a merchant's actual business category is inconsistent with its registered MCC, resulting in the cardholder not receiving the instant discount, UnionPay International shall not be held responsible and will not accept subsequent compensation appeals of this nature.

6.Frequency Limit

A single user can enjoy the discount a maximum of 2 times per day. A single card can cumulatively enjoy the discount a maximum of 500 times throughout the entire activity period.

7.Quota Limit

Quotas are limited and will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis according to the actual transaction sequence, until the budget is exhausted.

8.Applicable Cards

This activity applies to all globally issued UnionPay cards (card numbers starting with 62, including credit and debit cards), but the discount is only applicable to transactions bound via UnionPay Mobile Pay.

9.User Definition

The same device, the same user ID, the same registered mobile phone number, the same mobile phone number reserved with the bank card, the same bank card (physical card), and the same ID number, etc., are all considered to be the same user. Virtual mobile numbers are not allowed to participate in the activity.

10.Refund Rules

Only valid consumption transactions are eligible for participation. Cancellations, pre-authorizations, refunds, or abnormal payments are not eligible for the discount.

11.Amount Calculation

In the event of a refund (full or partial), only the amount actually paid by the cardholder will be refunded; the discounted amount will not be returned. Refunds are only supported via the original payment channel; cash refunds are not accepted.

12.Exchange Rate Difference

Due to exchange rate fluctuations, the real-time exchange rate at the time of refund may differ from the time of debit, resulting in a discrepancy between the actual refunded RMB amount and the initial debit amount. This activity cannot be combined with exchange rate promotional activities (if any).

13.Compliance

Users are prohibited from engaging in fraudulent transactions, illegal profiteering, malicious use of multiple accounts/devices, use of robots or crawler software, or any other violations. Upon discovery, UnionPay has the right to revoke eligibility, recover any benefits already enjoyed, and pursue legal action.

14.Arbitrage Handling

Users who violate the rules for malicious arbitrage will have the fraudulently obtained discount funds recovered by UnionPay, be added to a blacklist, and be refused participation in any subsequent UnionPay promotional activities.

15.Disclaimer

The organizer and UnionPay International are not responsible for situations in which users are unable to participate due to unsupported electronic devices, restricted card functions, or various third-party system issues.

16.Specific Restrictions

This activity is limited to UnionPay Mobile Pay transactions (excluding physical card transactions). Transactions for purchasing gift cards, prepaid cards, etc., are not eligible for this activity.

17.Organizer's Rights

This activity is organized by UnionPay International. Within the scope permitted by laws and regulations, the organizer reserves the right to adjust the rules (including but not limited to amounts, thresholds, quotas, etc.) based on the actual progress of the activity.
