The cashier enters the number of installments, in line with the request of the cardholder, and initiates an installment transaction.
After the card issuer authorizes the transaction request, a receipt will be printed out from the merchant’s cash register. The receipt is confirmed and signed by the cardholder, who then completes the payment.
The cardholder repays the principal and service fees periodically according to the bills sent by the card issuer.
The cardholder selects the goods or services on the merchant’s website and chooses UnionPay payment. The merchant page will redirect to the UnionPay online payment gateway, where the cardholder ticks the installment payment checkbox and has the card information verified. After that, they press the confirm button to submit the payment request.
After the card issuer authorizes the transaction request, the UnionPay payment service prompts that the payment is successful, and the transaction process is completed.
The cardholder repays the principal and service fees periodically according to the bills sent by the card issuer.
