Limited to 2 times per card per day; cumulative limit of 30 times per card for the entire activity cycle.

Activity Rules：

1. Activity Period

From August 26, 2026, to February 28, 2027 (inclusive of both dates), or until the activity incentive funds are exhausted, whichever comes first. The time zone is UnionPay backend time (GMT+8).

2. How to Participate

Users must successfully register (U Plan registration) via the activity QR code or designated link to participate.

3. Scope of Application

Use UnionPay mobile Pay to complete payment at all taxi POS terminals across the UAE (excluding physical cards). Trips paid for by entering a UnionPay card number in local ride-hailing apps are not eligible for this activity.

4. Definition of Mobile Pay

Paying with UnionPay cards starting with 62 bound to the phone's own NFC wallet, such as Apple Pay, Huawei Pay, Xiaomi Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, etc. Payments made through third-party wallet apps bound with UnionPay cards do not meet this definition and cannot enjoy the offer.

5. Special Instructions for Merchant Classification (MCC)

Offer distribution is based on the Merchant Category Code (MCC) registered by the merchant with the local acquirer. This activity only applies to merchants with MCC marked as "Taxi". UnionPay International is not responsible for, and does not accept subsequent compensation claims if the merchant's actual business category does not match the registered "Taxi" MCC, resulting in failure to enjoy the discount.

6. Quota Limits

Quotas are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis according to the actual transaction order, until the activity incentive funds are exhausted.

7. Definition of User

The same device, user ID, registered mobile number, bank card reserved mobile number, bank card (physical card), and ID number are all considered as the same user. Virtual mobile numbers are not allowed to participate.

8. Transaction and Refund Rules

Only valid consumption transactions are eligible. Cancellations, pre-authorizations, refunds, or abnormal payments do not enjoy the offer. In case of a refund (including full or partial), only the amount actually paid by the cardholder will be refunded; the discount amount will not be refunded. Refunds are only supported via the original payment route; cash refunds are not accepted.

9. Amount Calculation

Merchant receipts and invoices will show the original price before discount; the amount after UnionPay discount can be checked via bank SMS notifications, U Plan discount records, bank app bills, etc.

10. Exchange Rate Differences

Due to exchange rate fluctuations, the real-time rate at the time of refund may differ from that at the time of deduction, leading to differences between the actual RMB refund and the initial deduction amount. UnionPay International does not accept compensation claims for such cases.

11. Compliance Behavior

Users must not implement illegal activities such as false transactions, illegal profit-making, malicious use of multiple accounts/devices, or the use of robots or crawler software. Once discovered, UnionPay has the right to disqualify them, recover enjoyed discounts, and reserve the right to legal prosecution.

12. Arbitrage Handling

For users conducting malicious arbitrage in violation of rules, UnionPay has the right to recover fraudulent discount funds, blacklist them, and refuse their participation in any subsequent UnionPay promotional activities.

13. Disclaimer

UnionPay International is not responsible for situations where participation is impossible due to unsupported user electronic devices, limited card functions, or various third-party system problems.

14. Specific Restrictions

Transactions for purchasing gift cards, pre-paid cards, etc., are not included in this activity.

15. Rights of the Organizer

This activity is organized by UnionPay International, and all rights of interpretation belong to UnionPay International. Merchants have no mandatory obligation to explain the activity to cardholders. For any questions, please contact UnionPay International customer service directly.

Within the scope permitted by laws and regulations, the organizer has the right to adjust rules based on the actual progress of the activity (including but not limited to activity time, discount amount, thresholds, quotas, etc.).
