Qualified UnionPay credit cardholders book eligible hotels in the Chinese mainland through official IHG channels and complete the payment online with the eligible UnionPay credit cards will enjoy 10% off (capped at RMB 200 per transaction).

2. The offer are only applicable to the hotels where UnionPay online payment options are available at checkout. Hotels without UnionPay online payment options at checkout are excluded.

How to Redeem:

1) Book an eligible hotel in the Chinese mainland via the IHG official website、IHG One Reward Wechat Mini-program or APP.

2) At checkout, click“Use a New Card”to bind a qualified UnionPay credit card issued outside the Chinese mainland (or select a previously bound qualified UnionPay credit card for payment).

3) Complete the online payment with the UnionPay credit card to enjoy the instant discount. (The final discount amount will be reflected in the cardholders’issuer bank statements after checkout).

Activity Rules：

1. The promotion is valid from May 1, 2026, to December, 31, 2027 (inclusive). Both the online payment time and the stay dates (check-in and check-out) must fall within this period.

2. Cardholders of the UnionPay SplendorPlus Credit Cards or UnionPay Platinum & Diamond credit cards issued outside the Chinese mainland who book the participating hotels in the Chinese mainland under InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) (approximately 720 hotels with online payment support, see the attached list for details) via the official IHG website/APP and complete the payment with the designated UnionPay credit cards are eligible for the instant discount.

3. The discount is exclusively for the cardholder’s personal stay, meaning the IHG member making the booking, the actual guest, and the UnionPay cardholder must be the same person.

4. A total of 2,000 redemptions are available on a first-come, first-served basis (based on payment order). The promotion ends once the quota is exhausted. The payment date is determined by the pre-auth completion time recorded in UnionPay International’s system (Beijing Time) upon check-out.

5. For "Prepaid & Non-Refundable" bookings, the discounts are applied to the full payment amount.
For "Book Now, Pay Later & Refundable" bookings, the discounts are based on the final settled amount after pre-auth completion (the discount recorded during pre-auth is for reference only).
Reward rights (pure points or "Points + Cash" bookings) are NOT eligible for this discount.

6. Only room rates qualify for this promotion; all other incidental charges are excluded. 

7. If the cardholder cancels their original online booking and makes a new offline reservation/payment during check-in or their stay, they will not be eligible for this discount.

8. Discounts are allocated based on successful payment time. If a payment fails due to insufficient credit limit, transfer limits, card issues, network errors, etc., the discount quota will be released automatically to other eligible cardholders. No compensation will be provided for such cases.

9. Each UnionPay credit card can enjoy the discount up to five times during the promotion period.

10. If a refund is requested, the discount amount will be deducted, and only the remaining balance will be refunded. The discount will be considered used.

11. Hotel services are provided by IHG. Any claims or complaints related to hotel services should be directed to the specific participating hotel.
