During the campaign period, users who top up Suica, PASMO, or ICOCA transit cards via the Apple Wallet app on iPhone using a UnionPay physical card issued in Mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macau (“UnionPay Card”) can enjoy:

• Random instant discount of up to JPY 700 for a single top-up of JPY 7,000 or above, or 

• Random instant discount of up to JPY 1,500 for a single top-up of JPY 12,000 or above 

(Only one tier applies per transaction.)

Each iPhone device can enjoy the offer once per month for each transit card (Suica, PASMO, ICOCA) during the campaign period.

Offers are available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.

1. Promotion Period: From 00:00:00 on May 1, 2026 to 23:59:59 on August 31, 2026 (Beijing Time). 

2. Eligible Users: Apple Pay users. 

3. Scope of Promotion: iPhone Wallet App (top-ups for Suica, PASMO, or ICOCA transit cards in Japan). 

4. Promotion Details: During the promotion period, users who add a UnionPay physical card issued in Mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macau to the iPhone Wallet App and set it as the default payment method (the default payment method must be positioned at the top of all payment methods) will be eligible for the following offers when making qualifying payments: 

• A random instant discount of up to JPY 700 for transactions of JPY 7,000 or above processed through the UnionPay clearing network; or 

• A random instant discount of up to JPY 1,500 for transactions of JPY 12,000 or above processed through the UnionPay clearing network (only one offer applies per transaction). 

The actual debit time shall be subject to the merchant’s initiation. Each iPhone is eligible for one discount per month for each of Suica, PASMO, and ICOCA top-ups during the promotion period. The promotion is available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

5. How to Participate: Users must bind a UnionPay physical card issued in Mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macau to the iPhone Wallet App with real-name verification and select this card for payment when topping up transit cards. 

6. Terms and Conditions:

(1) A 100% chance to receive a random instant discount applies to eligible UnionPay transactions.

(2) The maximum discount per transaction is JPY 1,500.

(3) Each iPhone is eligible for one discount per month for each of Suica, PASMO, and ICOCA top-ups during the promotion period.

(4) For co-badged cards, the transaction must be processed via the UnionPay channel to qualify for the discount.

(5) The exact discount amount can be confirmed via the bank debit SMS notification, actual billing statement, or by contacting UnionPay customer service at 00531-086-0044.

(6) For instructions on adding Suica, PASMO, or ICOCA cards, please refer to: https://support.apple.com/zh-cn/HT2071547. In the event of any refund of a top-up transaction for any reason, the user will not be eligible for the instant discount again upon recharging.

(7) All times mentioned in this promotion are based on Beijing Time. The transaction time shall be determined by the time the transaction is recorded in the UnionPay backend system. For authorization transactions, both the pre-authorization time and the completion time must fall within the promotion period.
