UnionPay cards issued outside Chinese mainland

During the campaign period, cardholders may participate in the benefit on the U Rewards platform and claim 2 instant discount vouchers of RMB 5 off on orders of RMB 30 or more. After claiming the vouchers, cardholders who use the participating card to complete an order on the DiDi app and complete online payment (payment channels include UnionPay, Apple Pay, Nihao China, and International Bank Cards) can enjoy the discount of RMB 5 off on orders of RMB 30 or more (currency unit: RMB/yuan).

* Total 80,000 instant discount vouchers, first come, first served. Once the quota is reached, the promotion ends.

* During the campaign period, each U Rewards account and each card can enjoy the instant discount voucher benefit up to 2 times.

* The voucher is valid for 30 days from the date the benefit is claimed, and shall automatically expire upon expiration.

* The actual discount enjoyed shall be subject to the amount displayed by the issuing bank.

* Applicable APP: DIDI APP (DIDI China: Ride Hailing APP)

* Applicable only to IP addresses within the Chinese mainland.

* Both pick up location and destination must be within the Chinese mainland.

U Rewards User Flow:

1.The user enters the U Rewards platform and selects the “DiDi x UnionPay Exclusive Deal!” campaign.

2. After entering the campaign, click “Next Step” and select a UnionPay card to claim.

3. The card could claim two RMB 30-5 instant discount vouchers. 

4. Users can enjoy the instant discount by hailing a ride on the DiDi app and paying with this  UnionPay card.

DiDi App Card Binding Process:

1. English Version of the APP

1) On the “Account” page, click “Wallet”, select “Payment Methods”, tap “Credit/Debit Card”, choose UnionPay, and enter the card number to link.

2) At checkout in the DiDi payment interface, select “Credit/Debit Card”, choose UnionPay, and enter the card number to link.

2. Simplified Chinese Version of the APP

1) On the “我的” page, tap “设置”, select “免密支付设置”, tap “国际银行卡免密支付”, and then select “添加银行卡” and enter the card number to bind the card.

2) At checkout, on the Didi checkout page, select “国际银行卡”, and enter the card number to bind the card.

1. The campaign period is from November 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026 (Beijing Time, inclusive of the first and last days).

2. After participating in the benefit and obtaining the instant discount coupon, the cardholder will have the opportunity to enjoy the instant discount by completing an order on the DiDi app and making an online payment with the participating UnionPay card (the UnionPay card must support online payment transactions; please consult the issuing bank for details).

3. The total quota shall not exceed 80,000 transactions.

4. The instant discount voucher shall be valid for 30 days from the date the benefit is issued (issuing date inclusive), and shall automatically expire upon expiration. Once claimed, the instant discount voucher cannot be revoked.

5. Users shall claim, redeem, and use all instant discount vouchers they obtain within the validity period specified by the campaign. If they are not claimed, redeemed, or used within the validity period, the user shall be deemed to have waived such benefit, and UnionPay International shall not provide compensation. The instant discount voucher is for the cardholder’s personal use only, is non-transferable, shall not be used for any commercial promotion or other purposes, and cannot be exchanged for cash, other goods, or services.

6. The actual discount enjoyed shall be subject to the amount displayed by the card-issuing bank.

7. If payment fails for various reasons (such as insufficient card limit, transfer limit restrictions, abnormal card status, network abnormalities, etc.), the instant discount voucher shall be deemed to have been used, and no compensation shall be provided in such circumstances.

8. If a refund occurs after the cardholder enjoys the discount, the instant discount voucher already enjoyed shall in principle not be restored, and the corresponding discount amount shall not be converted into cash or refunded separately.

9. To enable more cardholders to enjoy this benefit, if any of the following circumstances apply, UnionPay International shall have the right to restrict or cancel the cardholder’s eligibility to participate in the campaign, and shall have the right to cancel or recover benefits already issued without further notice, including but not limited to: (1) conducting false or illegal transactions; (2) violating the campaign rules or using any means or tools contrary to good faith, such as system vulnerabilities, cheating software, plug-ins, etc., to fraudulently obtain benefits; (3) having one’s campaign participation eligibility restricted due to violations in other marketing activities previously participated in with UnionPay Internationl.

11. If a discount abnormality occurs due to a system failure, relevant supporting documents must be provided within 7 business days after the transaction to apply for verification.
