UnionPay cards issued outside the Chinese mainland (starting with 62)

1. Promotion Period: March 18-June 30, 2024

2. Participating Merchants: 

(1) Guangzhou city: bus and metro. 

(2) Zhuhai city: bus, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Toll Station (manual toll collection), Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Shuttle Bus (ticket window，limited to Chinese Mainland window only), and Jiuzhou Port Passenger Terminal (ticket window) 

(3) Foshan city and Dongguan city: metro. 

Note: The quota for promotional offers is shared among the above-mentioned merchants and the offers are available on a first-come-first-served basis. More participating merchants will be joining in the future, so stay tuned.  

3. Rules: 

During the promotion, consumers who take a Guangzhou/Zhuhai bus, take the Guangzhou/Foshan/Dongguan metro, pay the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge tolls (manual toll collection only), buy tickets for the shuttle buses running on Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (ticket window only), or buy ferry tickets at Jiuzhou Port Passenger Terminal (ticket window only) by swiping or tapping UnionPay cards starting with 62 issued outside the Chinese mainland are eligible for a 50% discount (up to CNY 10 off) per order. Each user can enjoy this discount once per month. The quota for the discounts is shared among all means of transportation and the offers are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

1. Anyone meeting any of the following criteria will be regarded as "one user": using or owning the same device, same registered mobile phone number, same mobile phone number registered with a bank, same physical bank card number, same ID card number, or same app user ID. Users must use their own devices, app accounts, bank cards, and QR payment codes for transactions at the physical stores in order to be eligible for the promotional offers. 

2. The default priority of promotional offers: fixed amount off/coupons and vouchers > points > red envelopes. You can go to "My" - "Settings" - "Payment Settings" - "Priority for Payment Code Discounts" to set it. If the promotional offer is different from the set QR code payment priority, the specified promotion offer may be invalidated. 

3. Split bills are not allowed. If any user needs to make multiple purchases, they need to line up again. A cashier has the right to reject the user who jumps the queue from participating in the promotion. 

4. In the event of any revocation, return, or reversal, the rebate amount will be deemed void, and the actual amount paid will be refunded to the original card. The discount will be deemed used. 

5. For unavailability of the offers caused by user-related reasons such as incompatibility of user device, app not updated to the latest version, loss report of cards, replacement of cards etc., the quota for the offers will not be compensated. 

6. The benefits from this promotion are for your personal use only. If anyone acquires or uses these benefits in improper ways (such as changing their location, using unapproved tools, or making fake purchases), China UnionPay has the right to disqualify that person, cancel transactions, take back any benefits (whether they've been used or not), freeze their account, and prevent them from joining future promotions. 

7. Only transactions processed through UnionPay network are qualified for the promotion. Stored value types such as vouchers and pre-paid cards, alcohol and tobacco products are not part of the promotion. 

8. The time records of all activities of this promotion will accord with UnionPay's back-end system timing (Beijing time). In case of a force majeure event or change of situation (such as a major disaster event, suspension or adjustment required by authorities, suspension caused by a system failure, or damage to the rights and interests of consumers caused by illegal or cheating activities), to the extent permitted by law, UnionPay reserves the right to adjust, suspend, and terminate the promotion, which will be effective upon announcement. 

9. By participating in the promotion, users agree to the promotion rules. For any inconsistency between the rules and in-store notice, users can appeal to UnionPay. UnionPay will then solve such inconsistency promptly. 

10. Due to the possible network delay, the available quota on UnionPay APP coupons is only for reference.
