1. This promotion applies to designated merchants at Japan’s designated airports and duty-free shops. Please refer to the UnionPay official website for the list of participating merchants.

2. Each cardholder only needs to register once during the promotion period. Discounts will be applied when the single transaction amount meets the required threshold.

3. When the conditions are met, UnionPay payments will automatically trigger the instant discount 100% of the time. Each card can enjoy up to two discounts during the promotion period.

4. Steps to participate in promotions that require registration:

① Visit the promotion page and enter your mobile phone number to register (the phone number is only used for receiving discount notifications and does not have to match the phone number linked to the card).

② Successfully register using a valid UnionPay card (up to 3 UnionPay cards can be registered).

③ Use the registered UnionPay card at designated offline merchants in Japan. Pay through the UnionPay channel, and when the transaction amount meets the threshold, the discount will be automatically applied.

5. Limited spots are available, and discounts are granted on a first-come, first-served basis based on the actual payment time (not the registration time). The promotion will end when the quota is exhausted. You can check the remaining quota on the registration page.

6. Some UnionPay cards issued in Japan are not eligible for this promotion.

7. After successful registration, it takes about 2 minutes for the discount to become effective. Once active, the cardholder can enjoy the discount.

8. If a transaction is refunded or canceled, only the actual amount paid will be refunded, and the discount amount will not be included. The discount usage will not be recalculated.

9. If multiple UnionPay instant discount promotions are available at the same merchant, the user can only enjoy the highest discount amount. Discounts from the same promotion cannot be combined.

10. This promotion aims to allow more cardholders to enjoy benefits. If a cardholder is found to be violating the promotion rules or abusing the discount through improper means, UnionPay International reserves the right to refuse the discount, revoke granted discounts, and prohibit the cardholder from participating in future UnionPay promotions. This promotion is organized by UnionPay International, but UnionPay International is not the provider of the goods and/or services and assumes no responsibility for them.
