Nearly 70% of merchants in Jamaica can accept UnionPay cards for payment, covering principal business areas, tourism stores and hotels etc.. In addition, 50% of local ATMs can accept UnionPay cards for cash withdrawal.

POS acceptance
Merchants with UnionPay logo or can accept UnionPay cards, covering nearly 70% of all merchants nationwide. Fundamentally, principal business areas, tourism stores and hotels can accept UnionPay cards for payment. Cardholders are recommended to show UnionPay cards initiatively, and consult cashiers whether it is available for use.
When using co-branded cards, you are advised to choose UnionPay as the routing option to be benefited from the special offers and services provided by UnionPay. -
Cash Withdrawal
At present, nearly 300 ATMs of National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited can use UnionPay cards for cash withdrawal, covering 50% of national ATM terminals.

ChargesATM commission fee consists of two separate fees:(1) Service fee charged by the issuer: please consult your issuer for details.(2) Service fee charged by the ATM acquirer in Benin: some ATMs will charge commission fee, which is charged by the local banks in Benin and which has nothing to do with UnionPay or the issuer.
