POS acceptanceCurrently, you can use UnionPay credit cards at any till in Mexico that has a POS terminal with a UnionPay , Discover, Citibanamex , or EVO Payments signage (as shown in the picture below), which are available at certain tourist attractions, hotels, restaurants, and shopping malls, among others. For merchants without such signage, you can present your UnionPay card and ask the cashier if it is accepted. At present, Mexican merchants take UnionPay payments without PINs.Below is a partial list of merchants that accept UnionPay cards (currently, only UnionPay single-badged credit cards are supported):

Cash withdrawalATMs of all banks in Mexico except BBVA Bancomer and Citibanamex support UnionPay cards for cash withdrawal and balance inquiry services. You may withdraw cash from the ATMs of the following banks:Service fees are charged by local banks for cash withdrawals. The rate varies from bank to bank. Additionally, each bank may set different caps for the amount withdrawn, typically between MXN 7,000 and MXN 20,000 per transaction.

Charges
ATM commission fee consists of two separate fees:
(1) Service fee charged by the issuer: please consult your issuer for details.
(2) Service fee charged by the ATM acquirer in Mexico: some ATMs will charge commission fee, which is charged by the local banks in Mexico and which has nothing to do with UnionPay or the issuer.
Cash withdrawal via debit card results in a lower commission fee. -
Tips
Select PINs that cannot be easily guessed by anyone.
Never disclose your PIN to anyone who claims to represent the bank or the police.
Be alert to your surroundings before conducting any banking transactions.
Keep a close eye on your credit card during transaction to avoid any illegal activities.
If your UnionPay card has been stolen/lost, please inform the issuer immediately.
