In Australia, UnionPay cards are accepted at around 95% merchants in major cities and suburbs, including major department stores, hotels, and specialty shops. Almost all of the local ATMs accept UnionPay cards for withdrawing Australian Dollar.

POS acceptanceMerchants with the signage of
all accept UnionPay cards.Since that some of the merchants have yet to put up the UnionPay signage, cardholders may show their UnionPay cards upon the till and inquire about UnionPay acceptance.
Among all the merchants who accept UnionPay card, 90% of them could also accept UnionPay QuickPass or mobile QuickPass, such as Woolworths, Myer, Muji, Uniqlo, Harvey Norman, etc.When using co-branded cards, you may not be able to choose UnionPay as the routing option at some merchants. Therefore, you are advised to use UnionPay cards with card number starting with 62 so as to be benefited from the special offers and services provided by UnionPay. Paying with UnionPay credit card at some local merchants requires no PIN. Cardholders can complete the payment following the instruction of terminal. Cash withdrawal
In Australia, UnionPay cards are accepted for withdrawing Australian dollar at 99% of ATMs, including four major local banks ATMs: NAB, ANZ, Westpac, Commonwealth Bank and other banks and brands of ATM including Travelex. You may also use ATMs with your UnionPay card in convenient stores like 7-Elevem and gas stations like ColesExpress.

Daily cash withdrawal limit from respective issuers and/or ATM may apply. Please consult your issuer on the possible cap on the amount. You may split your withdrawals into several times which comply with the limit(s). -
