POS acceptanceIn Australia, more than 95% of POS terminals accept UnionPay cards. Merchants with the signage of all accept UnionPay cards. Since that some of the merchants have yet to put up the UnionPay signage, cardholders may show their UnionPay cards upon the till and inquire about UnionPay acceptance.When using co-branded cards, you may not be able to choose UnionPay as the routing option at some merchants. Therefore, you are advised to use UnionPay cards with card number starting with 62 or 81 so as to be benefited from the special offers and services provided by UnionPay.
Paying with UnionPay credit card at some local merchants requires no PIN. Cardholders can complete the payment following the instruction of terminal. UnionPay Mobile Payment
Among all the merchants who accept UnionPay card, 90% of them could also accept UnionPay QuickPass or mobile QuickPass, such as David Jones, Myer, JB Hifi, Harvey Norman, Muji, Uniqlo, Chemist Warehouse, Priceline, Woolwoths and Coles.

Cash withdrawal
In Australia, UnionPay cards are accepted for withdrawing Australian dollar at 99% of ATMs, including four major local banks ATMs: NAB, ANZ, Westpac, Commonwealth Bank and other banks and brands of ATM including Travelex. You may also use ATMs with your UnionPay card in convenient stores like 7-Elevem and gas stations like ColesExpress.

Daily cash withdrawal limit from respective issuers and/or ATM may apply. Please consult your issuer on the possible cap on the amount. You may split your withdrawals into several times which comply with the limit(s). -
ChargesATM commission fee consists of two parts:(1)Service fee charged by the issuer: please consult the issuer for details.(2)Service fee charged by the ATM acquirer in Australia: some ATMs will charge commission fee, which is charged by the local banks in Australia and which has nothing to do with UnionPay or the issuer.Cash withdrawal via debit card results in a lower commission fee.

Tips• For Debit Card please select ‘Cheque’ or ‘Saving’, for Credit Card please select ‘Credit’.• According to the regulations by China State Administration of Foreign Exchange, the cumulative withdrawal of funds from ATMs using UnionPay cards abroad shall not exceed RMB10,000 equivalent in foreign currency per card per day, and the total amount of bank cards under one's name (including supplementary cards) shall not exceed RMB100,000 equivalent per year.• Daily cash withdrawal limit from respective issuers and/or ATM may apply. Please consult your issuer on the possible cap on the amount. You may split your withdrawals into several times which comply with the limit(s).• Select PINs that cannot be easily guessed by anyone.• Never disclose your PIN to anyone who claims to represent the bank or the police.• Be alert to your surroundings before conducting any banking transactions.• Keep a close eye on your credit card during transaction to avoid any illegal activities.• If your UnionPay card has been stolen/lost, please inform the issuer immediately.
