Receive an $8 AUD/NZD (as applicable) rebate when you spend $108 AUD/NZD or more in a single transaction and pay with an Eligible Card at a Participating Woolworths Store (Offer).

Offer Period    

The offer period starts at 12:01 AM (GMT+10) 1 October 2025 and ends at 11:59PM (GMT+10) 31 May 2026, or until the offer is fully redeemed (Offer Period).

Participating Woolworths Stores    

Woolworths Supermarket stores in Australia and New Zealand, Woolworths Metro stores in Australia, Woolworths Online in Australia and New Zealand (Participating Woolworths Store).

How to Participate

You must first register for the Offer via the QR code located on UnionPay’s social media, promotional banners and at the front of select Woolworths stores or via the online registration link accessible from UnionPay’s website or app. Only one UnionPay card can be registered via one mobile phone number.    

Spend $108 AUD/NZD (as applicable) or more in a single transaction at a Participating Woolworths Store and pay using any UnionPay card starting with 62 or 81 (Eligible Card) during the Offer Period.

This Offer is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is capped at 50,000 redemptions. You may redeem the Offer once per week per Eligible Card, up to a total of ten (10) times throughout the Offer Period.

Exclusions

Purchases of gift cards or tobacco products are not eligible for the Offer. You will not be eligible to benefit from this Offer in any way if your transaction contains a tobacco product and/or gift card(s), and we reserve the right to not issue any rebate if we identify that you have purchased a tobacco product in your transaction.

Additionally, if you cancel or refund your order you will not be eligible to redeem this Offer.

UnionPay and Woolworths reserve the right to change or cancel this Offer at any time, and will provide prior notice of any such changes.

1. The entire promotion period is from October 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026, local time in Australia and New Zealand, inclusive. The event will be held in phases: Phase 1 runs from October 1 to November 30, 2025; Phase 2 runs from December 1 2025 to February 28, 2026; and Phase 3 runs from March 1 to May 31, 2026.

2. How to Participate: 1) Successfully register using the event QR code or registration accessing link to participate. Only one valid UnionPay card is available to be registered successfully per mobile phone number. 2) Pay with a UnionPay card at participating stores and receive an instant rebate of AUD $8 (NZD$8) on purchases of AUD $108 (or NZD $108) or more. Limited to per card per week. 3) One registration entitles you to all three phases. 4) You can enjoy the discount a total of 10 times during the three promotion phases. Any unused rebate from one phase will be carried forward to the next phase. 5) The total number of participating entries is 50,000 (the cumulative number may exceed or fall due to fluctuations in the exchange rate between the Australian dollar, the New Zealand dollar, and the RMB). The promotion ends on May 31, 2026, or when all the available quota is exhausted. First-come, first-served basis. 6) Only transactions initiating from UnionPay cards issued in Australia and New Zealand that are routed through the UnionPay network are eligible for the promotion.

3. This promotion is limited to UnionPay cards only, and transactions are processed through the UnionPay network. Please contact your card issuer for transaction routing related query.

4. Only valid transactions are eligible for the promotion. Purchase cancellations, pre-authorizations, refunds, or other abnormal payments will not qualify for the promotion.

5. Each successfully registered card number is limited to ten promotions during the entire promotion period.

6. Purchases of gift cards or tobacco products are not eligible for the promotion. You will not be eligible to benefit from this promotion in any way if your transaction contains a tobacco product and/or the gift card(s), and we reserve the right to not issue any rebate if we identify that you have purchased a tobacco product in your transaction.

7. The promotion will end once the promotion funds are exhausted. First-come, first-served basis.

8. The amount on the receipt is the original amount. The actual payment amount is subject to the debit information from the card issuer.

9. If a transaction is refunded or returned (full or partial), only the actual amount paid by the cardholder will be refunded, excluding the discount amount.

10. The instant rebate funds for the entire promotion are sponsored by UnionPay.

11. UnionPay reserves the right to adjust the promotion schedule and mechanism.
